Thies Sander is Co-Founder and General Partner of Project A Ventures, an early-stage fund investing in entrepreneurs in the fields of e-commerce & marketplaces, infrastructure & data and software as a service.
Thies studied business administration at WHU (Vallendar, Germany), Kellog (Chicago) and at ESC Reims (France). Having completed his studies in 2000, he worked with The Boston Consulting in the company’s Berlin and New York offices until 2006. Afterwards, Thies was Head of Strategy in the operations branch at adidas. In 2008, he became CEO of (comparison portal for financial products). At Project A Ventures, Thies is responsible for investor relations, finance and investment operations. He is also actively involved in mentoring and supervising the individual portfolio companies.
