Andreas works Flick Gocke Schaumburg’s Bonn office. He advises companies on all employment law and social security law matters. In venture capital and private equity, he focuses on setting up employment agreements, directors’ service contracts and ESOPs, as well as taking care of employment and social security issues in due diligence investigations.

Education & Career

Andreas studied law at the Universities of Bonn and Heidelberg (Ph.D.). Prior to joining Flick Gocke Schaumburg in 2013, he spent part of his legal clerkship at a leading independent law firm in London.

Experience

Recent highlights of Andreas’ experience include advising:

  • Cherry Ventures on the procedure to determine social security status
  • Project A on implementing an employee participation program
  • Tennis Point on setting up employment, directors’ service and freelancer agreements
  • ParStream on employment law issues in connection with the sale to Cisco

Personal

Andreas is married and has two children who are, in his view, the best compensation for his work as a lawyer. The family have just built their own home, and Andreas had the naïve idea that afterwards the lazy days would begin. However, he has since learned that home and garden improvement is a never-ending story. Whenever he has any free time left, he loves sailing on Lake Constance and doing and watching sports.
